I cracked Netcracker Interview in my college placements.I am sharing my experience with you so that it will help the needy.
The most important situation in a students' life is to hear the words "congrats you are selected".Especially for engineering graduates(though I am going to be a graduate).I remember the words,they are still echoing in my ears.Tears were the only reaction after I came out of the place.
I just want to share my experience with Netcracker in this blog.
About Netcracker:
Netcracker is an Multi National Corporation with it's footprint at Bangalore,Pune and Hyderabad offices in India.It develops software for telecommunications service providers.Apart from this it works on latest business areas like operations and consulting.It has good scope for development in coming years.
Written test:
Netcracker visited our campus(NITC) for the first time this year.The first round was written test and is basically an elimination round.Just like any other company they conducted the paper pen test with various general sections.It was basically to check the mental ability and basic grip on coding and consisted of three major areas.
1.Aptitude:
The aptitude part was easy.Most of the questions were from relative motion distance time calculations.Without any preparation using common sense one can easily solve them.
2.OOPS concepts:
This part was bit tough but with good understanding of concept you can crack it.
3.Coding Skills;
Coding questions were easy but needed some prior practice.
I made through the first round and was shortlisted for the interview.Waiting for our turn is annoying but believe me it is worth waiting.There were two Technical rounds.
Round1:
This was easy.He asked me some coding questions from linked lists.Most of the time he sticked to OOPS concepts.I was very confident with OOPS concepts.I think that was the part where I scored high.
Round 2;
Second round was horrible.I screwed it up at the beginning.I was shooted with questions from a CSE graduate perspective like memory,compiler etc.Later we shifted to data structures,computer networks and some telecommunication concepts.As I was from ECE background,I could answer most of them.After all this I asked for feedback on my interview.Listening to it I couldn't figure out if I will be selected but to my surprise the HR lady called me and told that I was selected.
Thus the placement story came to an end.Summarizing,just be confident with what you know and show them that you are really interested in joining them.Preparation is must anddo what you can upto your best,rest leave it to fate.All the best folks.Hope this was helpful.
